"I’ve been on two trips with F5! Tours and they were both utterly amazing. On my first trip with them we saw a tornado on the first day. I had so much fun that first trip that I couldn’t wait to sign up for the next year. That proved to be exciting as well – we were in the Joplin, Missouri area when that deadly [E]F5 tornado hit. To say that there is a lot of action on these tours is an understatement.

The F5! staff are very knowledgeable and safety conscious. They get you as close to the action as safety allows. You get to see some beautiful country along the way and it’s a learning experience as well. You get a crash course on tornadoes at the beginning and they explain what’s happening throughout the trip. "We start in Oklahoma City and in my five previous tours, I have been as far south as San Antonio, Texas and as far north as South Dakota. We have seen big cites and what I like the best, which is the real small towns of the Central Plains. In 2007, we saw President Bush’s motorcade in Kansas, and even had time to stop at President Clinton's library in Little Rock, Arkansas. The feeling of being out in the plains waiting for a funnel to form and seeing the sky turn from blue to black in a matter of minutes is something I will never forget."
